Identity(s): Next Chapter is the second annual mixed-media art show presented by LOFT Community Services, featuring the artistic works of members in the Transitional Age Youth Program. Highlighting reflections on what constitutes and creates an identity, The Super Wonder Gallery will play host to an evening of artistic exploration that is representative of self and struggle. Identity(s): Next Chapter reminds us that an identity is never complete, like that of an epic saga, it transforms and develops over time. The narrative may shift, but the story does not end. We simply start the next chapter.
Many of our youth are so incredibly talented, and also vulnerable in so many different ways. Not only will they benefit financially from the sale of their work, but the confidence they will gain knowing that someone thought their work was worthy of purchase will do so much for their self-confidence and feeling valued in their community.
