The Shevchenko Foundation in partnership with the Ihnatowycz Family Foundation are launching a new mentorship program for emerging Ukrainian-Canadian artists of all genres.
The logo, and details of the grant will be announced on Toronto Ukrainian Festival Weekend at a party for members of the Ukrainian-Canadian arts community (i.e. you)!

Expect art installations, live performances, and presentations from some of our most dynamic young musicians, artists, filmmakers and photographers, including some you will be shocked to have never heard of.
There will be installations by:
Olenka Klebann (larger than life paper cuts),
Yura Rafalui(blasphemous folk icons)
Borys Tarasenko + Dima Nechepurenko (sketch video art)
Myroslava Boikiv (embroidery explosion)
Musical performances by:
LUKA (acoustic indie folk)
Katya Khartova (opera)
Moskitto BAR (Iraqi-Breton-Ukrainian folk)
DoVira (trance/electronica)
and a few words from some other incredible Ukrainian talents.
Curated by Mark Marczyk (Lemon Bucket Orkestra, Counting Sheep) and Oksana Hawrylak (Kosa Kolektiv, Folk Camp).
