ABOUT "MODERN WHORE: A MEMOIR"
In her early twenties, Andrea Werhun harboured a shameful secret: when she wasn’t studying at university or labouring away at her "daylight" gig, she was working as an escort. What is more shameful, perhaps, is that she loved sex work. Modern Whore is a genre-bending collection of original stories by Werhun inspired by her adventures in the sex industry. Co-created with filmmaker Nicole Bazuin, the book features over sixty of Bazuin’s provocative portraits of the author that bring the stories to life. Unabashedly feminist, sex-positive and imaginative, Modern Whore is an autobiography unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
